October 1st is the date we were given when there will be a full panel showing off everything regarding the new Heroscape and also when the Haslab goes live. For context, Haslab is a marketing platform that's Hasbro's version of Kickstarter. If a specific number of people fund the product, they get that item, and then the funding is used to get it onto the market.
Essentially we're investors for the future of the new Heroscape, and our reward, if they hit that goal, is the first set for this new rendition.
As I get the information, I will update and post it here, but I will work extra hard to get the word out!
What are your thoughts about investing in the future of a new Heroscape game?
In the spirit of the energy behind Heroscape's return 12 years later, I, too, am pursuing to reinvigorate and provide commentary and content to the community behind this franchise. Please check out my start of the new blog series Gesta Fabulatoris, a documentation of my experience as a storyteller in the Heroscape narrative! This blog will include life bits and details regarding the content I create for the series.

And the Heroscapers.com official blog post reveal here:
Welcome Back, Heroscape - Heroscapers
During July 12-18 I was able to go to Indiana to attend ScapeCon, and found myself getting invigorated regarding this franchise, and what a time to start getting back into it because the annnoucement dropping today makes the hype even better!
I'm going to start going over everything and seeing what we can do to clean up the site for new players as well as veterans returning, during this time we're waiting for updates for the new sets. Please message me if you have any suggestions for the time being!
Since right now we're just waiting till the next update, start building that hype!

Hello all, Adminkyrie here,
As part of my endeavors to get my creative work more life and existence during this social isolation period, I've been busy! I've been working on drafting an idea to combine both the rules of Dungeons and Dragons to allow interested players to continue a Heroscape themed plot in their campaigns!
It's been a bit since I attempted this, as I tried a few times in the past, but now, with all this time I've received, I'm super excited to get this rolling forward hopefully a lot farther than I did last time.
I have the research and lore to back all the concepts, and I'll also be introducing an exciting mechanic I want to playtest and make better, so here's hoping it turns out well!
Please follow my Patreon or Twitter for updates. Sharing is not required but hugely appreciated!
Update: New Twitter handle based on the current project's name and not the older one.

As most history buffs would know, the Norse described Valhalla as a place where warriors would go and fight to the death...meaning, they'd die and then be brought back by Odin (or some other deity, I'm not too sure) and then be treated to feasts filled with never-ending laughter and merriment. Now, I am not an expert in the lore of Heroscape, so I have to ask- do characters actually die in this Valhalla, and if they do, can they be brought back? Or are they just straight-up unkillable?
I went and revisited the Icaria page with an idea to create a specific format for planet entries, and on the page is a .jpeg graphic of a customized planet that wasn't featured in any of the official content.
I'm going to remove it for now but keep it in the photo bank just in case, but I want to ask
Should we keep the customized graphics for the planets on their pages?
I'm leaning more towards no for the reason it's not official content and might confuse a new player/seeker of information. I want to maintain a quality of professionalism in the pages that help inform rather than confuse since we have such limited content in the first place.
Let me know below!
If we don't get any particular votes or opinions in a few weeks, I'll save it to a folder on my computer and remove them on the site. I don't want to trash the good work but at the same time, I want to make sure we stay to what we have and know

1. The infobox on that page appears to be only partially visible unless I'm in edit mode and I have no idea how to fix this.
2. Does anyone know why the decision was made to make the official name for the shades 'Bleakwoode' rather than Bleakewoode on this wiki? I realise there is a lore-related conflict, but naming the article and all reference to these figures after an obscure location fact rather than after the name on the card (the one most people will care about for practical purposes) seems a bit silly to me. However, I didn't want to go around to several dozen articles reversing this without asking if anyone had objections. Objections?
I landed my venoc on the dagmar glyph..but what is initiative in the game? How exactly is it used.
I hope we are playing right...we are taking our 3 moves and our characters are moving according to our move stats..eg my venoc warlord will move 7...or up to 7 spaces. The only time we are using the 24 dice...so far...we just started our first master game...is when instructed..eg..i rolled to see if i could get frenzy with my vipers.

So I've been a user of Discord for about a year now, and it's become a fantastic medium for instant communication. And it was around October of last year I joined Gamer Escape's server, a wikia-using group that organizes everything for the Final Fantasy XIV franchise. And they use their Discord for editing assignments and inviting random people to talk about the franchise while pinning pages that need editing.
I really like the dynamic and I would be interested in starting one of my own, but since this site's edits usually go very slow, I'm not really against having a server with just a few people but leaving an open invitation on this site.
Discord's really fantastic about gating bots and keeping out spam as well as setting permissions so not everyone can just come in and start talking nonsense. Who knows, maybe a Discord server would be an easy way to talk when away from the platform so that edits can be made at a better pace for everyone>
Let me know what you all think

So I'm helping out with this fan project of a stop-motion series based on the Heroscape story, and was asked to stream about the name pronunciations, gonna leave this here if anyone is interested in watching
Check this fantastic snippet of information I found on the "other" Heroscape wiki:

This abandoned site has become on archive to preserve the massive amount of work into the original Heroscape site. The original site was controlled by D&D users who believed the original Heroscape should be converted into part of the D&D universe. A herculean effort went underway to restore the original lore of Heroscape and to treat D&D the same as Marvel. The effort was largely an success, however in early 2016, the D&D users returned, took over the website and began to dissemble the hard work of the Heroscape editors, merging categories blurring background and generally trying to D&D-nize the original game. This site is dedicated to storing the original hard work, sweat and effort, of those brave editors who dared to stand up to the D&D crowd. We do not believe that these D&D users not represent the D&D community are large, we believe that D&D is a great game - but we believe Heroscape is just as great as a game and should have it wiki, not be a D&D-lite Wiki.
Alright, I'm just going to go out and say it. Matrix, you're a damn fool. Enjoy your shameless self-promotion on a site that has 32 articles. I've literally had enough of your bull and you are never allowed back on this site. No one needs your toxicity here.
As for anyone else that has any questions about his claims, no, there is no such thing as "D&D users" (as if we're some damn political party, I bet he supports Trump too) and nobody is trying to D&Dnize shit. That concept is wholly the notion of an ignorant. You want to be uninformed and flaunt your stupidity, go on right ahead. But be advised, it is not the truth.
Sure, there's a lot of work that needs to be done on some of these articles, and unregistered users pumped in a lot of D&D lore to fill the supermassive black hole of missing Heroscape information. But in no way was the wiki being D&Dified or whatever verb form you want to use for the brand. Waves D1-D3 are part of the Heroscape lore and exist within the continuity as the previous characters introduced. Marvel was playtested using Heroscape but was meant to be a separate entity.
Every time I see a post he makes I want to break things. I've never seen a more ignorant concept then I see when he writes.
Keep your opinions to yourself but when you discredit others for it, expect a backlash and defamation. Throw a rock at a bee's nest, expect to get stung.
So I logged on to heroscapers.com and saw this on the front page: http://www.heroscapers.com/community/blog.php?b=2633
A highlight that Craig Van Ness, the lead designer of Heroscape, left Hasbro to make his own game company!
His YouTube channel is just barely made, the first video dated September 1st, so it's pretty new and there's no word on his plans.
Link to Soaring Rhino, his new company: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2N4-i_RLTYeeW2-fLL98iw
I for one am glad he left the corporate monster. It's not an easy thing to see your brainchild be shattered and left for dead by the business that helped give you a name.
Will he get the IP to Heroscape? I don't want to have any false or unnecessary hopes. But he's easily in the very beginning is giving homage to his work with the game, so we might see a decent spiritual successor or various references to the brand.
What's everyone's thoughts about this? I'm pretty excited about it
Just a post to archive the news entries from the front page. Gonna try to streamline it a little better and have more updates, so please look forward to it (Yoshi-P get off my wiki)

I am also going to start articles on units released as part of the heroscapers program Classic Custom Creators of Valhalla, or C3V, a Heroscapers forum community project of well-balanced, playtested, fully integratable customs that are being woven into the Heroscape storyline. There have already been 3 waves of releases out on these units, so any help would be appreciated. Please message on my talk page for any questions regarding the C3V units.

I don't feel that it's too much of a bother, or a problem, or a controversy, to publically state in the news section that there is no accurate basis to isolate the Heroscape that was released as D&D minis from the rest of the units introduced in the game. The D&D units were designed by members of a hard-working team that created the classic Heroscape for us, and did all they could to allow the mechanics of Heroscape to mesh well with pre-released units from another gameline. Segregating D&D from the rest of the units released discredits this design team. It discredits Chris Dupuis, who spent so much time working diligently with Wizards of the Coast to allow this game to continue as far as it did. It discredits Colby Dauch, who did all he could to design powers, and actually was the inventor of the X order marker power mechanic that exists on 2 of the 4 NEVER BEFORE RELEASED sculpts of characters from the D&D line. I could go on and on, but I really hope my point has been made known. So I publically declare, I am returning all D&D units to their original state as part of Heroscape, ridding all derogatory or negative statements about Wizards of the Coast and the units they worked so hard to give us, and will be keeping a very wary eye over changes. If anyone has any problems with this, take it to my talk page. And see if you can convince me otherwise that the decision to alienate the D&D units from the rest of Heroscape, despite the effort of work that was put into them to make them for us, is anything praiseworthy or noble of a community who supports this game and continues to keep it alive.

Looking over the Army Card pages, I'm noticing that we lack high resolution images of many of the cards, especially in D&D Heroscape. If anyone can find better, larger, clearer pictures of these card, or create some themselves and upload them on to the site, that would be a big help in making the wiki look better!

Army Card pages (TrueScape) have been completed now! Synergy and correct Bios and Stats has been added to all the pages - however there is still plenty of tweaking to be done! Strategies are still needed as well on many of the pages. Go Team HeroScape!

Display your Valkyrie Alliagance with one of our new userboxes! One for each General and even a Valkill one for D&D editors. On your profile type in two(2) "{" followed by "userbox:" and then the name of the General you wish to serve and end it with two(2) "}" no spaces between anything. To use the alternate userbox simply add a "2" after the General's name. Please pick only one. To see what the userboxes look like, check them out at the HeroScape Wiki:Community Portal!

I have big news for all HS fans and players, and it's all bad. Following the recent handover of Heroscape to WotC (whose reputation for ----ing things up is unmatched) WotC has officially announced that
HEROSCAPE IS BEING DISCONTINUED BY WotC

Good news, the site content is back. Also, I am now an admin so I can deal with any page deletions or other site maintenance.

Wave D2 is on its way! As the new figures are revealed I will upload them for you guys. Hopefully you are all just as excited as I am to see all of the new figures. A quick note, wave D2 features a new figure base that is smaller and easier to use in other games.

Moltenclaw the Dragon invades Heroscape! Wave D3 has been announced on the ever-expanding and popular fan base heroscapers.com, and includes many surprises for the universe of Heroscape, to include 4 all-new squads for the new evil general Valkrill. I will follow up on the website every preview Wednesday to update this database with the new units and their stats. Look up Moltenclaw's Invasion for a synopsis and all the links regarding the new set

Two pages were recently created by an unregistered contributor. The pages were both highly irrelevant, unnecessary, and likely intended as vandalism. Both have been marked for deletion. PLEASE do not vandalize this site, it is meant as a supplementary resource to players as well as for those new to the game. Doing so is rude and will not be stood for.
Since most of the species in the game only have one or two units, I thought it might be a good idea to make their race specific page a redirect to the race's category. So if there are less than 5 units under that race category (Toril only species or species that are spread out among planets), go ahead and make the race specific page and put #REDIRECT page title, the page title being usually for the species. And then we can put a little bio spoof in the category page. I'm inputting the 4e Monster Manual entries for all the D&D races.
The way this wikia now works as long as I am admin:
All units who have been summoned to Valhalla and exist within the continuity of that setting are in one group.
All units who have not been summoned to Valhalla and in fact are exceptionally different as far as game mechanics go are considered different sets.
Anyone who wishes to debate and discuss this, please do so below.
Keep it civil.
Hello all, new admin here.
I have formally adopted this wiki as admin and have begun cleaning up some of the things that were left behind. I've set it to where anonymous users will not be permitted to make edits unless they log in as users, or create user accounts, to prevent vandalism of previous edits and clean up to the site.
I have also created this forum board for discussions and posts specific to wiki action. Please direct all concerns here.
Live chat is active, so if you see anyone online, give it a test run. It might make editing easier to talk in real time with other users.
All in all, I'm really excited for the opportunity to help with the organization of the content that I thoroughly enjoy. Please, if you have any concerns you wish me to address message on my user page or in this forum and I will reply
Looking to move forward with this project.'
~Saludos
