"A roaring fire scorches and burns them in its searing inferno."[1]

Fire Elementals are Elemental Constructs from the Dungeons and Dragons portion of the continuity, and was included in the Fury of the Primordials expansion. Wizards of the Coast did not write lore bios for their Dungeons and Dragons Heroscape units, and so we know relatively little about these characters.

Abilities[]

  • Lava Resistant:
A Fire Elemental never rolls for molten lava damage or lava field damage, and it does not have to stop on molten lava spaces.
  • Searing Intensity:
After moving and before attacking, you must roll the 20-sided die once for each figure adjacent to at least one Fire Elemental you control. If you roll a 14 or higher, that figure receives 1 wound. Figures with the Lava Resistant special power are not affected by Searing Intensity.
  • Negative Element:
A Fire Elemental can never roll defense dice while it is on a water space.

FAQ's[]

  • Target Point
ERRATA: The Target Point for a Fire Elemental should be just below the top flame on its head, where the indentations for its eyes are. (Hasbro FAQ)[3]
  • Searing Intensity: Elemental Destroyed During Movement
If a Fire Elemental is destroyed during its movement (due to a leaving engagement attack, Engagement Strike 15, falling damage, etc.), do you still roll for Searing Intensity for figures adjacent to other Fire Elementals during the destroyed Fire Elemental's turn?
No. As soon as the Fire Elemental is destroyed, that turn is over. Searing Intensity does not trigger. [Heroscape designer Chris Dupuis][3]
  • Negative Element: Water Plus Bonuses
If a Fire Elemental is on a water space but has other bonuses (glyphs, height advantage, etc) can it roll defense for those bonuses?
No. When on a water space, a Fire Elemental cannot roll any Defense Dice. (Hasbro FAQ)[3]
