List of Heroscape Releases

A Heroscape display at Comic-Con 2007.

Heroscape was first released in August 2004, with the original run lasting until 2010. This first run included the Rise of the Valkyrie and Swarm of the Marro Master Sets, with 10 waves of figure expansions, as well as the Dungeons and Dragons: Battle for the Underdark Master Set, with another three waves of D&D themed figures, and the Marvel: The Conflict Begins game set.

Heroscape returns to game store shelves in late 2024 with Heroscape: Age of Annihilation, beginning with the Age of Annihilation Master Set, Battle for the Wellspring Battle Box and Grove at Laur's Edge terrain expansion.

Rise of the Valkyrie Master Set (2004)

A 2.0 edition was later released which featured opaque water tiles instead of 'Sparkly', a single set of white combat dice instead of separate red attack and blue defense dice, and minor rules changes. There was also a Wal-Mart exclusive Viper's Vengeance version in November 2005 that came bundled with the exclusive Elite Onyx Vipers.
