    Tul-Bak-Ra does not need clear line of sight to attack with the Mind Blast Special Attack.
  • Teleportation:
    Instead of moving Tul-Bak-Ra normally, you may choose any empty space that is on the same level and within 10 spaces of Tul-Bak-Ra. Place Tul-Bak-Ra on the chosen space. When Tul-Bak-Ra starts to teleport, if he is engaged he will not take any leaving engagement attacks.
  • Teleport Reinforments:
    When Tul-Bak-Ra receives one or more wounds from an opposing figure's Normal or Special attack but is not destroyed, you may choose one friendly Marro Squad figure for every wound Tul-Bak-Ra just received. Place the chosen figure(s) on any empty space(s) adjacent to Tul-Bak-Ra. If the teleported figure(s) are engaged, they will not take any leaving engagement attacks.


Behind the Game

Tul-Bak-Ra is the first Marro Hero figure without a power involving the 20-sided die. He is also the first figure with an attack that does not require line of sight and the first figure with a self-teleportation style ability.

  • Teleportation To a Glyph?
    Can I use Teleportation or Teleport Reinforcements to transport figures onto glyphs?
    Nice try. Per the wording on the card, the spaces onto which figures teleport must be "empty." A space containing a glyph is not empty, and therefore Tul-Bak-Ra would not be able to transport himself or any other figures onto it. The space next to the glyph, on the other hand . . .
  • Teleportation & Area-Attacks:
    Q. If Tul-Bak-Ra receives one or more wounds from an area-attack (Such as Johnny 'Shotgun' Sullivan's Shotgun Blast Special Attack), and takes advantage of Teleport Reinforcements, are the teleported figures also then affected by the area-attack?
    A. No. The teleported figure would not be affected by the attack. Targeting is decided prior to actual die-rolling or anything that comes after, including the re-positioning of figures by a power like Teleport Reinforcements, which cannot change which figures are affected by the attack.


Tul-Bak-Ra's teleportation allows him to move around the battlefield with ease. Stay on the lowest level so that teleportation is always an option. He is also an asset for castle battles. He can use his Mind Blast Special Attack to destroy figures hiding behind battlements, through obstacles such as walls, trees and ruins, no one can hide from him! He can also teleport inside the castle, open the gate, and allow in friendly troops.
